An experienced owner and operator of senior housing facilities throughout the United States, Keven Bennema has spent nearly six years as the president and chief executive officer of Charter Senior Living, LLC, in Naperville, Illinois. Drawing on a career spanning three decades in the senior living sector, including time as a caregiver, he founded the company in 2016 and has expanded it to include 30 properties under his direct supervision. Keven Bennema previously served in leadership positions with a number of senior living companies, including nearly nine years as executive director, regional director, and ultimately executive vice president and chief operating officer of Chicago’s Senior Lifestyle Corporation. He has additional experience in all functional aspects of the skilled nursing community.
Mr. Bennema graduated from Cleveland State University with a master of business administration in 1999. His academic work emphasized healthcare administration. In addition to his business studies, he obtained a nursing home administrator license in the state of Ohio.
